The Cult’s debut, ‘Rare Cult - Mixes’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Cult’s album Rare Cult - Mixes falls to No. 2 with 715,000, a sales slide of 53%. This album has some very good songs like Resurrection Joe (Long Version) and She Sells Sanctuary (Assault On Sanctuary). Resurrection Joe (Long Version) and She Sells Sanctuary (Assault On Sanctuary) is really good.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. I loved Love Removal Machine (Extended Version) the first time I heard it. After about the third Wild Flower (Guiter Dub) listen through, I began to believe this song is The Cult’s essence. Soldier Blue (Extended Version) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Fire Woman (LA Rock Mix) - Okay, I just talked about depth. The Witch (Dance Remix) - The Cult first major hit. Coming Down (Butchered) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Gone (Dub Vocal) is The Cult’s best work in years. The sound of Love Removal Machine (Small Soldiers Mix) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
