Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Scott Cossu and Eugene Friesen on ‘Sanibel’. This is the first studio album from Scott Cossu and Eugene Friesen since bad diagnosis in 1986. Scott Cossu and Eugene Friesen’s debut, ‘Reunion’, does not fit easily into one genre. Unappreciated gift to New Age
Music of Mistico is gentle, never overbearing. In Moira you won’t find any flashy solos. Shepherd’s Song is pretty funky and mellow. La Paloma (Flight Of The Dove) is a gorgeous sing-along. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Scott Cossu and Eugene Friesen. Sweet Rose is a striking and quite long song. Wedding At Jenny Lake is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Morning Sketches - I just love it.
