Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Morrissey on ‘You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side’. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Morrissey energies, virtually a rebirth. ‘Your Arsenal’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I Love Your Arsenal from start to finish!
Glamorous Glue sets the tone for the entire album. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. After about the third National Front Disco listen through, I began to believe this song is Morrissey’s essence. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. You’re the One for Me, Fatty presents the cool mix of instruments on Your Arsenal. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. The sound of Tomorrow is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
