Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Jon and Vangelis comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is no doubt that Jon and Vangelis has talent. After seeing Italian Song, I had to have a good Jon and Vangelis cd. Best of Jon and Vangelis is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
I’ll Find My Way Home - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Voice and instruments in State Of Independence complement each other. The first time I listened to One More Time I was struck by its excellent sound. After you’ve listened to Play Within A Play, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. The Friends Of Mr. Cairo is so unique, as each one of the songs is. A great put together song. Put He Is Sailing into car stereo for your highway driving I Hear You Now as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
