I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Brown Street’ really is amazing. This disc has all of the essential Joe Zawinul classics. Since completing 2007’s ‘Brown Street’, Joe Zawinul fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
March Of The Lost Children - A catchy, upbeat tune. Best song on the album, love it. In A Silent Way is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. No Joe Zawinul song has come close to capturing my attention as Fast City did. In Night Passage Joe Zawinul is at his best. Badia/Boogie Woogie Waltz is beautiful, yet underrated track. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Black Market is absolutely incredible. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
