This disc has all of the essential Joe Walsh classics. But Seriously, Folks is an amazing album, racked with beauty. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Joe Walsh energies, virtually a rebirth. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
I listened to the opening track Second Hand Store and liked it a lot. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. At The Station is just simply stunning. After few listenings I started to like Tomorrow more and more. Inner Tube is one of the more up-tempo songs on But Seriously, Folks. Theme From Boat Weirdos is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Life’s Been Good is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
