Vom Selben Stern is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Ich+Ich’s debut, ‘Vom Selben Stern’, does not fit easily into one genre. Jim Jones has compared writing for Ich+Ich’s new album to that on ‘Vom Selben Stern’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is junk
In junk full palet of sound is used by Ich+Ich to accentuate the presentation. Best song on the album, love it. schuetze mich is probably the highlight of the album. nichts bringt mich runter great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.so soll es bleiben is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I listened to the opening track mach dein licht an and liked it a lot. I now have daemonen as one of my personal favorites. In ich atme ein ich atme aus Ich+Ich is at his best. bruecke - To me, this is the best song on the Vom Selben Stern. ich fuerchte mich is really a nice song to relax and listen too. troesten - A catchy, upbeat tune. Wenn ich tot bin (ich + ich version) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Ich+Ich’s strong vocals come to the fore.
