After seeing Goodbye, Cherie, I had to have a good Hanne Haller cd. Lead single “Goodbye, Cherie” and “Ich warte hier unten” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like Goodbye, Cherie and Ich warte hier unten. IT makes me wanna dance!
Overall a nice softer song. Samstag Abend pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Geh nicht good vocals. Weil du ein zartlicher Mann bi is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Hanne Haller ever produced. Nice and different song. Ich halte durch - A strong beat. Die Nacht der Wolfe is simple, dignified and effective, Hanne Haller refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Engel fallen nicht vom Himmel - For me, this is the best of the album. So Long und Good-Bye is a song to enjoy for years to come. Opening track Hallo, lieber Gott shows the best of Hanne Haller. Starke Frauen weinen heimlich is perfect song though, very addictive. Some call Mein lieber Mann from Hautnah-die Geschichten Mein as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegelei is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Dieter Thomas Heck uber: Hanne is a marvelous sing-along.
