Since completing 0’s ‘Home Run King’, Gene Clark fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Gene Clark on ‘Home Run King’. Great Blues right here!
Lonely Saturday pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. In The Pines is the song that really did it for me. Kansas City Southern as a highlight of Two sides to every story contains a ton of exquisite melodies. You have to get essence of the Give My Love To Marie’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. This track is full of harmonies and gets Two sides to every story off to a relaxing start. Music in Marylou is cool as in all tracks of Two sides to every story. Hear The Wind is marvelous song though, very addictive. Gene Clark is hitting on all cylinders in Past Addresses. Silent Crusade rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
