Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, Fabric comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. ‘Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Fabric on ‘I Wish You Were Gone (Joakim)’. I Love Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy from start to finish!
Future Unlimited (Cut Copy) is a good listen every once in a while. I can’t stop humming along Disco Clown (Munk). Hello Empty Room, Future Unlimited (Who Made Who,cut Copy) is a great opener for Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy. Get Dancey (New Young Pony Club) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Fabric’s strong vocals come to the fore. Vocals of Fabric in Bang Bang (In Flagranti) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Slide In(Dfa Remix) (Goldfrapp) is another favourite of mine. In Dead Eyes Opened(Extended Mix) (Severed Heads) Fabric is at his best. I believe Out The Door(Super Discount Remix) (Who Made Who) is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Face To Face (Daft Punk) is probably the highlight of the album. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. In Truth & Lies (Mstrkrft) full palet of sound is used by Fabric to accentuate the presentation. Stop (B.W.H.) one is one of the better boring ones. Music of Your Retro Career Melted(Ursula 1000 Remix) (The Faint) is gentle, never overbearing. One listen to the sheer beauty of E Talking(Tiga’s Disco Drama Remix) (Soul Wax) was all I needed. Into The Groovey (Ciccone Youth) good vocals. Waters Of Nazareth(Erol’s Dur Dur Durrr Re-Edit) (Justice) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Eisbar (Grauzone) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy. Musically The Acid Never Lies (Riot In Belgium) is superior to other tracks in Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy. Shadows (Midnight Juggernauts) - For me, this is the best of the album. Omega Man (Fred Falke) is really the reason why I recommend buying Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Angel Eyes (Roxy Music) - Fabric first major hit. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Fabriclive 29 - Cut Copy is Going Nowhere(Whitey Remix) (Cut Copy). Dream Sequence (Cut Copy) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
