The first time I listened to Falls I was struck by its exquisite sound. Gabriel’s Oboe is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Charming song, great melody. Brothers is worth the money. This song stands out greatly from the others. First time I heard Vita Nostra was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Climb (1:38) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Remorse is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. This song may be the most meaningful. The Mission presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on The Mission. River (1:59) - awsome. Gabriel’s Oboe is the funkiest number on the album. Te Deum Guarani is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Refusal had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Asuncion have really caught my ear and imagination. Alone is the more seemingly obscure song on The Mission that bear up best to repeated listening. Guarani - My least favorite song on this album. Strong, powerful vocals of Ennio Morricone in The Sword are very impressive. Miserere is one of the coolest songs Ennio Morricone has ever recorded.
