After debuting at No. 1 last week, Eminem’s album Curtain Call: The Hits falls to No. 2 with 294,000, a sales slide of 93%. Since Eminem last CD (Curtain Call: The Hits) on Capitol Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. Curtain Call: The Hits is an amazing album, racked with beauty.I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Eminem ever.
FACK is a astounding sing-along. Vocals of Eminem in The Way I Am really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Eminem is hitting on all cylinders in My Name Is. Stan (Feat. Dido) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Curtain Call: The Hits. I hope to keep hearing Eminem works for a long time to come. Sing For The Moment is simple, dignified and effective, Eminem refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Like Toy Soldiers is outstanding work of Eminem. The Real Slim Shady is Eminem’s best work in years. Although Mockingbird is very melodic it is far from sad. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Guilty Conscience (Feat. Dr. Dre) because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Cleanin’ Out My Closet the music gets its power. You can find feelings on this piece of art. When I’m Gone is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Stan (Live; Feat. Elton John) is a medium tempo tune.
