Self-described as Rap: Hip-Hop with lots of words, Christina Aguilera comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Christina Aguilera was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Christina Aguilera and Back to Basics together. On Back to Basics album, Christina Aguilera have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Back to Basics.
Intro (Back To Basics) one is one of the better boring ones. Christina Aguilera emotions are reflected through Makes Me Wanna Pray featuring Steve Winwood. I find myself hearing bits of Welcome here and there throughout my waking hours. Christina Aguilera breathes new life into the music in Back In The Day. Candyman is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. If you are a Christina Aguilera fan, you will love Ain’t No Other Man. Christina Aguilera must have run out of lyrics on the next track Nasty Naughty Boy. I Got Trouble is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Understand is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Hurt sets the tone for the entire album. Voice of Christina Aguilera in Slow Down Baby is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. So much energy, so exciting a sound.F.U.S.S. (Interlude) is one of the best records ever. Save Me From Myself rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. On Our Way had me crying as I was able to relate so well. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Christina Aguilera. Without You is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. After few listenings I started to like Still Dirrty more and more. Here To Stay is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Thank You (Dedication To Fans…) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty.
