There is so much to love about Buckethead, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Buckethead had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. On Colma album, Buckethead have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
For Mom - My least favorite song on this album. Ghost is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Buckethead ever produced. Hills Of Eternity is Buckethead’s best work in years. I have all of Buckethead’s tracks and Big Sur Moon is probably the most his introspective effort. Buckethead is hitting on all cylinders in Machete. Musically Wishing Well is superior to other tracks in Colma. Lone Sal Bug one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Sanctum as a highlight of Colma contains a ton of excellent melodies. Wondering presents the cool mix of instruments on Colma. Listening to Watching The Boats With My Dad you can hear that Buckethead has still amazing chemistry with band members. The song Ghost (part 2) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Lyrics of Colma are precise and evocative.
