twelve years ago, Bob Sege briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”. Since Bob Sege last CD (Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band) on ForeFront Records back in 1980, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF YOU LIKE ALL Bob Sege’S SONG GO FOR IT! You’ll Accomp’ny Me - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Her Strut make listening to Bob Sege like being in some sort of time warp. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Long twin silver line motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Only one song from Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band named Against The Wind really got me. Good for Me is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Bob Sege released so far. Betty Lou’s Gettin Out Tonight is simply exquisite. Opening track Fire lake shows the best of Bob Sege. After about the third Shinin’ Brightly listen through, I began to believe this song is Bob Sege’s essence.
