When you buy a Beggars Opera album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Lead single “Hobo” and “Macarthur Park” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Pathfinder carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Another great offering from Beggars Opera.
Beggars Opera has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Excellent vocals and musical performances. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. In From Shark To Haggis the music gets its power. Stretcher had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Madame Doubtfire make listening to Beggars Opera like being in some sort of time warp.
