This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Bee Gees. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Bee Gees energies, virtually a rebirth. There is so much to love about Bee Gees, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. One touched my soul like nothing else.
The song One ending is my favorite… so catchy! Bodyguard is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Voice of Bee Gees in It’s My Neighborhood is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. When listening to Tears, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Some of the arrangements found on One are surprisingly edgy. Flesh and Blood is worth the money. I love the melodic melody of Wish You Were Here and to this day it makes me feel good. Some call House Of Shame from One as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I loved Will You Ever Let Me the first time I heard it. Wing and a Prayer is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Bee Gees ever produced.
